Get Involved
Are you working to address health, wellbeing, or health and care inequalities in West Birmingham?
You might work for the NHS or another health or care provider, you might represent a school or college, or you might be part of a third sector organisation.
Or maybe something else… Whichever one you are, you are welcome here!
We hold a handful of in-person meetings/events per year to encourage networking and collaboration.
There are also opportunities to join specific subgroups, which meet more regularly, usually via Zoom.
Current subgroups include:
- Building Trust – working to establish an open and collaborative working relationship between community organisations and the NHS, as well as links with other health and social care providers and schemes.
- Primary Care Access – working to increase transparency and improve access
- Best Start in Life – covering pre-pregnancy health, pregnancy health and wellbeing, and the first five years of life
- Diabetes, Obesity and Asthma – looking at these areas of specific relevance to our communities
- Communications – looking at communications between members, with the communities they serve, and between Flourish and external partners
